It was most comparable to Judah vs Cotto.

Judah and Taylor are a little below their opponents level. But with a high workrate, they can be on top for several rounds. This ultimately leads to their downfall.

They aren't really being truly competitive, they are just knackering themselves out. The snaps goes, then they get dominated.

to be honest i was screaming at the tv for taylor to pull back some of his punches in round 2 because i thought if he ko'd him in 2 rounds pavlik would've just been another bum he beat.

I think that round played out like Marciano Walcott 1, round 1. The 2 rounds were very close to likeness imo.

Pavlik was hurt before he stuck his chin out. He stuck his chin out b/c he is just one badd motherfucker and he was reacting to being hurt as he was not firing back but on the defense. Taylor is just a retard to let him clinch his way out of that round. Taylor was surprised himself that he had Pavlik beat he did not know how to finish him which would of only took a ODH type flurry mixing in a few uppercuts. Pavlik was on donuts.
