I don't know if he has been mentioned yet but Kid Chocolate deserves a shoutout, what a stylist that guy was.

he was pretty much bullet proof when he got into is stride. Only Olivares really hurt him and that was early on in the fight.

Solid guy when he won on form wasnt he?

I was speaking to frank Baltazar who seen the fight live and he says it was Olivares's body shots that did the damage

Ray Robinson
Ali when he ws Cassius Clay
Ricardo Lopez

I also loved the way Arguello stalked and setup his opponents for the KO methodical precise and deadly.

I loved the was joe Louis would blast a guy with a KO shot and calmly walk to his nuetral corner.
just awesome

The way Duarn would roll with punch and counter

Took a while before someone mentioned him, agreed 100%. I also rate McCallum very high in this aspect.

I really enjoy watching Joe Louis. Really, really enjoy it. Probably enjoy it too much. Watching him pummel people into submission is almost like porn to me. Horrible, horrible, awesome porn.

Most of my picks have been mentioned already, Whitaker, Napoles, Conteh and especially Buchanan.

One other is JCC, thinking particulary of the flowing combinations that slip from body to head almost in the same motion. Nobody else I have seen throws such creative flurries of punches, totally unpredictable yet controlled and fluid, they almost look choreographed. He is also among the best in the business at using different angles and his unorthodox punching is a joy to watch.

Though provoking question becuse of the use of the word beautiful.
I'll say though that when I watch Ray Robinson or Ezzard Charles I have to force myself to pay attention to what's going on in the fight because I become transfixed with their footwork, I have to tear my eyes away.

I would like to mention the welterweight-championshipfight between Johnny Bratton and Kid Gavilan here. Both fighters used their fists like a foil. Gavilan won, but Bratton showed an excellent performance. Great to watch.

Love the crispness and accuracy of Joe Louis's sharp shooting shots, never grow tired of watching him.

Absolutely love watching Cotto; so text book, tidy and yet still aggressive and exciting.
