In his defense, Clottey has never destroyed anyone. Ever....

It's astonishing how Cotto at 29 loses two fights, one to a bigger man with a very solid beard adn the other to, in many peoples estimation, the "greatest fighter in our generation" and is now "not the same fighter". Cotto won a clear decision, THAT EVEN MOSLEY AGREED WITH, but as time passes more and more people come out of the woodworks claiming Mosley should have gotten the nod. Something he nor his camp believe. If they fight again it would be a very competitive fight, but just because Mosley went on to beat Marg and Cotto loss to Pac doesn't mean Mosley all of a sudden is light years ahead of Cotto and would stop him.

This is more or less ok, but: Cotto also suffered with Clottey. In my view, since Mosley Cotto is 2-3-1 (I had Clottey winning and with Mosley a draw). Could you please cite the source where Mosley accepted the result of the Cotto fight?

People who try to argue a point about the Cotto fight by stating how Mosely even agreed with the resuts are pitiful.

Mosely doesn't whine like a bitch after results. He never has. He always tries to portray himself as Mr. Congeniality after a fight, no matter what. Talking bad about the decision just isn't his style.

Now, you guys can carry on with this nonsense.

I would LOVE to see Cotto vs Mosley on free HBO.

I think Mosley should pursue the fight and try to avenge his loss, and maybe if he does they can make it a triology. Whoever the winner, it will put the spotlight back on them.

This fight makes much sense to me. I hope to see if even if Mosley loses to PBF.

It would be a fun fight to watch, but for both guys it is kind of pointless other than to make some bucks.

If Mosley wins, everyone will say Cotto's COMPLETELY shot. This is what I believe. It would just confirm it to lose to a guy who you solidly out boxed just years before. Losing to Mosley will literally force him out of boxing.

If Cotto wins, everyone will say "So? You beat him before and you can't go to the next level." Beating Mosley will mean what? He still can't beat Mayweather. He still has no belt. What? Is Margarito next?

I think he made a good choice in facing Foreman. If he wins, he can capture another belt. If he loses, hey he gave it a shot. He can retire a winner.

Mosley gave him hell 2 years ago, since then Cotto has been beaten down badly twice and been through a tough battle with Clottey. Lets face it hes damaged goods probablly at this point unless Mosley is shot he would stop Cotto within 10. I would like a rematch but Cotto has gotta do something in the meantime I suppose Foreman would be a decent win.

You're right...it's different....but Cotto beat Josh...barely, but he won...and PAC dominated Cotto. Josh's style and size will present a bunch of new obstacles for Manny but I think we'll see Manny pull out a Decision in a closer fight than the Cotto fight.
