Default Stieglitz/Gutknecht April 17TH

Good fight guys or not?

Did not see Gutknecht fight where he beat Balzsay - but I am presuming some you guys did.

Does he have much chance against Stieglitz or is it another straight forward defence

Gutknecht is decent but Stieglitz is on another level from what I saw. Gutknecht has some potential in the near future - to become a solid contender or even beltholder but not for more.

Gutknecht has struggled on European level. He had a good win over Balzsay lately, but I can think of at least 15 more interesting match-ups than this one...

This fight is fast approaching on Saturday has anyone got any more views, I think this could be an interesting fight but I favour Stieglitz a bit to be honest

Can't say I'm a fan of either fighter. I can possibly see Gutknecht outboxing him, especially if Stieglitz gasses out (though that hasn't happened lately), but I don't think he has enough pop to keep Stieglitz honest. I suspect Stieglitz will win a mid-rounds TKO.

Interesting match-up! Stieglitz has improved resently and I think that he should be favourite here. Stieglitz is far more physical fighter. He might be able to outhustle, bully and wear down his opponent. Gutknecht is the more techical boxer. He could outbox Stieglitz if he fights a smart fight. I am a bit worried about the fact that Gutknecht takes a bit too much punches. A strong guy like Stieglitz can wear him down? Gutknecht will most likely win the early rounds and Stieglitz will come strong late.

I will still go with Gutknecht to win a very close fight on points.

Thats for sure.

I just simpley hate when some idiots call guys like Stieglitz a champion. This is a decent Euro-level fight and thats all there is to that. This fight has nothing to do with championship boxing.

Yes, but not live. You'll have to wait for Zbik vs Spada II to end... which will probably last the full twelve rounds again.

23:15 CEST on ZDF

Thank you very much! I was asking because it was reported that Universum lost its TV contract. It seems, however, that its events was still on ZDF. I, probably, didn't understand the situation well. I was hoping that ZDF would n't give up on boxing.

The contract expires at july 31th. Untill then, there will be live boxing on ZDF.

The last fight on ZDF may be Dimitrenko-Harrison at july 31th.
