Friday is in NZ as we speak, i spent a 2 week period with him sparing Teke Oruh an unbeaten Goosen heavyweight and Arthur Cook.. Friday is very confident and ready to launch a nice indian summer to his unbeaten streak, Cameron and Friday sparred in the USA years ago , and Friday although much more advanced did praise the young gun but in no way sees what the big deal is. He cuts, and will as he puts it have zero chance of a KO over Friday.. I hope Shane is prepared , Friday is very focussed and early to arrive in NZ, he is very happy with this event taking place especially over 12 rounds, he loves plenty of rounds to work on kis like Cameron, he is focussing on letting his hands go a lot more in this fight.. I hope Shane doesn't cut in this one , it would be a damn shame........

Its going to go the distance thats for sure. How pretty the last few rounds are going to be is anyones guess. A battle of conditioning looks like its going to be the way this pans out. May the fittest man win

If its going to be the same Cameron that KO'd Mirovic after fighting with a broken hand then he will win. If its the same Cameron that got the decision with Walton then I cant see him winning.

His fight against bob was his standout performance. I remember quite clearly how early in the fight his hand broke and he was hooking bob to death

The nigerian is farken sturdy. He's the heavyweight equivalent of Ndou. A dangerous journeyman who can give the better fighters trouble.

Will be a very interesting fight.

Friday has shared the ring a few times with a young Cameron and knows that one thing he has to expect is good fitness and apt work rate, he will need it if he is going to cope with the guy we had in the gym last week, he is all good to go 12 at a breeze if he needs to. The bleeding is going to be a problem for Shane if he decides to mix it up.. Has anyone seen how Friday anhiallated Walton only a few months ago.. Shane ever seen our guy fight.??? I truly wonder why they chose Ahunanya.. They should have listened to Gary Shaw and stayed on the American steady progress route.. Ignorance may be the guys downfall.. I have to respect his self beleif , God bless.

Not long now, Shane weighed in lighter than Friday who came in at a solid 230lbs, just over 104 kg's . In about 9 hours time the fight takes place.. I am unable to watch the event because i reside in the UK.. I would love it if someone could keep me posted with any coments surrounding a result or info on how the fight is going..... I honestly need Friday to come through this fight unscathed, we trained hard for this and its a last chance saloon at the highest level having fallen short against Lyachovich ( lost pts) Ibragimov (lost cuts) Povetkin (lost pts over 6) We have come a long way and it would be a shame for him to bow out having not won a portion of a championship.. Friday has been under my watchful eye for over 11 years and we met in 1996 in Las Vegas whilst he was being trained by Johnny Tocco and Tyrone Boone , sparring with Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis to name but a few.. any info regards tonights event would be great.. i am kinda anxious on the result.. I left him when he flew to NZ last wednesday... Cameron in my humble opinion is a bit too raw to force a victory over Friday who has never been put on the floor by a punch as an amateur , pro or even in sparring...
God bless....
