Paulie is right though, despite what some on here say about the childish messaging etc. Khan said he wanted Malignaggi in New York so he could beat him in his own back yard. Why's the fight taking place in Detroit of all places??

I still think this is a tough fight for Khan. Malignaggi seems to have got his act sorted out since the Hatton fight.

Michigan has the largest Muslim population in the USA (300k or so) If GB get their marketing right it will be like a home fight for AK.

the fight will be competitive, but khan wins on UD imo. Too quick and fast, and at the end of the day, glass chin or not, if an ageing gassed out hatton can beat him, then Khan should be able to too

the Detroit venue may have something to do with the large Muslim Community that lives there, but also the large community in DT consists of Arabs/chaldians (more christians than muslims), but the point is there is a huge muslim community...but why would arabs show up at a Khan fight?? I know Naz had a fight in Detroit and got a massive support by Arab-americans.
unfortunately for Khan, at this stage, his fan base is mostly asian-brits, and theres not a huge asian (pakstanii) population in the states..

If khan is HBO new star then I imagine this fight will get a lot of hype and the press tour should be full of bad blood between the two. I was really looking forward to this fight anyway it should be a great exhibition of skills and speed.

I don't know, but surely there's a fuck load of muslims in NY? It shouldn't matter anyway, a fair few Brits seem up for going to this fight if it's in NY, and obviously Paulie has fans in NY. It doesn't make sense for either set of fans, or the fighters, to fight in Detroit.

khan will struggle with paulies movement in the first round or two, and then he will start working in with fast combos and by the 6th, paulie wont be able to handle khans speed and will be in survival mode.... the ref steps in in the 8th and stops the fight as paulie isnt throwing punches and is geting hit too much
