As Daz mentioned, his left rip to the body is what I think of when I think Lenny Zap.. Good power in that punch.

I think Lenny Zappa will destroy Angulo, Angulo has lost his last two against very average opposition. It good to see Lenny stepping up opposition, maybe fighters like Ryan Waters and Billy Dib will follow suit. They are all good fighters but the time comes where your opposition has to be better so you dont inherit , the Glen Kelly or Shannon Taylor effect of going over to the US with a pretend record and get found out in the worst way possible , Lenny aint fighting a Marquez or Valero, he is fine tuning his craft. He needs to beat these tough journeyman to get to the NEXT LEVEL

Good to see a Aussie having a go !

Zappa is the best young professional in the country but there is a question mark over his chin.

Personally, I would have kept him away from anyone with decent punching power but fighting on the big networks in the US he's not going to get that luxury.

It's sink or swim for young Zappa.

Really looking forward to watching him next weekend.

Shannan Taylor had a pretend record?

Can't agree with that at all. Check his record pre Mosley. I'd say at this same point in their careers (22-0) ST had fought the better opposition.

Since somebody mentioned Taylor, why is it that he had to wait 9 years after his debut for a title shot? Was he in one of those situations where he was a big risk and not much reward for a champion to fight?

That was the only market I could find. fight bet dot com.

I'l have another look tonight but up until yesterday, none of the reputable firms had a market for it.

Lenny Zappa has a good chance in this fight, Angulo has lost his last 2 fights. It is suprising he is getting shot to be honest.
Lenny's only weakness is his defence IMO, His Power is good and has good speed. He leaves himself a little open to counterpunching but with a little more refinement he should be able to do well on the World stage.

I think it depends on what Angulo's last two losses are all about. He was overweight for Ganoy, and then in his next fight he weighed 141 before losing a lopsided decision. In his most recent loss he weighed 133. He might have over-cooked himself to make 135 and that's why he came in light. After getting an early kd, he got dropped a few times himself. He certainly has weight issues.

This is his last fight under Don King before he becomes a free agent so they will be determined to pick up a belt as leverage in trying to get another deal somewhere.

If Angulo makes weight comfortably ( this is a short notice fight for him) and is on his game, I think he packs too much experience for Lenny. If he is off...Lenny is a definite chance of rolling him.
