Duke McKenzie said he struggled to make weight tonight. i guess at his age your body is still developing, he wasnt having any problems a year ago.
I reckon FW will be very happy as Lightweight is a much tougher division than L/W. Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis will have the 4 belts by the end of the year and I wouldnt fancy Khan to beat either of those for 2 or 3 years. I would have him beating Rees tomorow, Malignaggi and Torres within 3 fights no probs. |

To be honest the divisions he is in and ready to move up to are not too strong at the moment. Pualie is good but beatable, Torres is decent but not top class and Ree's is aparently going to lose who ever he faces next. In the lightweight guys the opposition is not great and the two top guys Katsidis who can bang but not much more and Juan Diaz is not great.
I personally can not see Khan losing to a domestic or European level fighter. Thaxton may be the pick of the bunch but if he fought Khan the same way he fought Stewart last night for the first few rounds he would soon be looking up at the ceiling. I am a Khan hater more than most and will jump for joy when he does finally lose but apart from a fluke punch it will not happen against any of these guys. |

Forget about who he may face if he stays or moves up, fact is he's working more and more on his strength, (as he alluded to in his interview), more muscle = more weight, look for him to move up to light welter very soon.

If Earl fights Khan next and he manages to land flush on Khan, Khan may not get up. Earl has a punchers channce of beating Khan. I also think Rees would beat Khan at this point in his career. |

Malignaggis got a good chin but I dont rate him too highly. I think khan will be better than that. Hes a good champ to target becouse of his lack of power. Torres is underated and would destroy khan at any time in the next two or three years.
