Bullshit. DQ was via his own doing. Anyway, everyone else is saying 'aside from this loss, I nominate [insert fighter's name here]', so **** it- I nominate JMM.

Well I thought he lost to Diaz the first time and so did others so you can't disregard the first fight

Hmmm... difficult one.

I was about to say Bruno (Lewis and Tyson), but he also lost against Smith and Witherspoon.

Hamed.... only lost to Barrera.

Tzsyu... only lost to Hatton

Mosly? Cotto, Winky and Forrest? Hmmm... maybe not.

One of the most overhyped and overrated fighters i've ever seen. Dined out on beating a shot J Tapia, Never forget Bones Adams giving him a boxing lesson and then disgracefully getting jobbed.

I haven't seen alot of Ayala at all to be fair, slightly before my time in terms of the world scene, i was just going purely off his record and seen that his only legitimate losses were to MAB and Morales. Can't really comment on the rest of his career in terms of hype, robberies, performances etc, so thanks for putting me right

Don't be silly.

I think Hatton is the obvious candidate for recent fighters in losing to Mayweather and Pacquiao.
