It was a good night,i remember thinking Frank was going to get nailed in the last 3 rounds,i think we all knew he would not be able to stop Ollie and after getting so many rounds in the bag it started to look as though Frank was going to tire and get stopped again.Then he started to tie Mccall up and that won him the fight.Was a relief to hear the final bell.

always been the links. I thought it was a shame benn didn;t do it. They were mates after all. I think he wanted to do it for Malinga fight which wasn;t long after tonys death and the leah betts death, so he was strongly advised not to do it. Its funny really, as tts death really upset benn and he was never the same after. prob a big coincidence but something I have often though about

no I dont mate. big time. massive fuck up and I feel so sorry for the men that have done 15 years plus for something they didn't do. All reasonable evidence suggest they didn;t do it.

Whomes never knew tate, rolfe or tucker. Had a few petty convictions for example, why would he kill 3 men for money when he wasn;t a recognsied crim

So happy for Frank that night...

My memories of this night are Nigel Benn in a suit William Shakespeare would have been proud of and when our Frank got emotional on the ring apron. It cannot be underestimated how tough it must have been to get up for a World Title shot 4 times...

Oliver McCall was no mug and a tough fucker too...

Lloyd Honegan was in his corner shouting stuff at the introductions...

na and mickey steele was a drug wasnt he. old bill u reckon and not just because of the leah betts thing. mind u they were proper hated all over the country

steele was a crim and impored drugs. As you prob know he hated tate and did have the motive, But I dont believe he woud have done the 3 of them. Its a tough one though, them boys must have gone down that lane that night with somebody they liked and trusted (they werent armed) so Steele would fit in there.

I visti bernord o mahoneys site from time to time. He knew them and is adamant that Steele and Whomes are innocent. thats enough for me to be honest. He knows who done it, and he says it werent them
