totally agree. not lookign at the bigger picture at all. Limmond has done nothing of note since the Khan fight if he wasnt to go places he needs to take a risk.

I really like Limond and rate him high like most people on this site and I understand that a guy as to make a living in and outside boxing especially at christmas time and if your business is going through a good patch in times like these. I also understand that Limond has his own value of what he is worth in a British boxing ring in certain level of fights but I really think his career has gone no where and will probably continue to be non existant even if he wins this fight.

we'll see that was really un professional off him not to make the weight but ya can only learn from your mistakes which he did in the thaxton fight and he will move on....where as limmond showed he was a true warrior in the khan fight and showed he belongs up there at that level domestically but he has not been active enough..... a believe it was not enough time and probaly not enough money on the table for the mitchell fight a would like to see limmond back at the top....looks like nelsons stable is becoming one off the best stables with burns,simpson,limmond,and young prospects in hughes

Seriously why should he even be considered for that? He has no boxing skill for that level. The most he can get is commonwealth title. Even defending that will be a massive challenge for him given his poor training by his trainer.

Anyway Limmond faught a good fight with AK, Infact I think its AKs best fight, You can see the fighting heart on both sides. To go as far as he did with Khan with a broken jaw, broken noise and to endure relentless round by round pounding by Khan is a great feat.

ya talk sense about limmond but ya have it in for john murray he has a crackin trainer in joe gallagher one of the best in the world nutrionists in kerry kayes but it was jon murray at fault for not makin the weight he is past the commonwealth stage in holding the british title hes goin on to european THEN world stage he knows its only a few fights away so you will see full commitment from him....hes done somthing that willie couldnt do and get to 27 fights undefeated with 16 ko's
