Default my 2 skill fight..

this is my first upload, so be gentle

i tried boxing for a couple of months, 5 years ago, kinda got hooked, but partying took over..

i came back, trained to get in shape, but always knew i wanted to box. unlucky as i am, i broke my hand twice and clashed heads during sparring over aperiod of aprox 5 months, so never really got a rhytm going. Got dqed in the first skill fight. I stopped again, and then changed clubs, got in shape and ready for my 2 skill fight, but i broke my thumb, just the day before.. insanely unlucky..

after 2 months without training, i got back to the gym and the coaches was planning another skill-fight event, i had to persuade them to let me join,as i hadnt trained and there was only 5 days to go.. well this is the result..

feel free to give some advice

ps im in blue.

Your opponent was absolutely horrible....when he came out for the first round with his hands glued to his head, sidestepping to the center of the ring, that should have been your clue that he had no idea what he was doing. The rounds were short too, so you could have just murdered him if you had applied the pressure.

But you clearly dominated him. Only advice from me would be higher workrate and throw the left hook. His right hand dropped whenever you were in range, so even if you had thrown to the body first I think you could have done some damage with that punch.

Good fight though

thanks mate..

i was winded after the first round, didnt really have time to prepare for the event, so took it rather easy..

as it was a skills fight, we werent allowed to throw with full force, more like a sparring session, otherwise i would have thrown my left hook. But was afraid to do so, as i tend to throw that with too much power. Didnt want to get dqed.

Oh ok I had no clue what you meant by 'skills fight' at first. All I was thinking the whole time was "WHY ISN'T HE KILLING HIM??????!!!!" haha well in that case, great job
