Here are some cruiserweights to watch out for...
Denis Lebedev Krzysztof Wlodarczyk Mateusz Masternak Grigory Drodz Pawel Kolodziej All Euro good CW's to keep an eye on. Diablo is fighting Frago in Warsaw Lebedev is brutally KOing people left n right. Hes due a good fight vs. another top contender too. Master and Kolodziej seem to be doing good for themselves. Kolodziej had a nice pretty brutal KO last night. Drodz is off a nice TKO win over Wilson |

I haven't seen Kolodziej or Masternak yet, want to, but CW is a solid division.
Alekseev is still my favorite and i have high hopes for him, he is one of my favorite guys to watch, beautiful style and a great body puncher which i love. |

i watched huck closley in his last 2 fights v afolabi and the american no hoper whose name i forget and sadly he has not learnt anything from the cunningham loss, not had his faults ironed out and while he is very strong and powerfull , he will fall short v boxer punchers who keep up a tempo with him.
i would have liked him to have learnt a bit more in the gym, but while a good fighter i think he has reached the best he is ever going to get. wlodarckcyk-sorry for the spelling, likewise, toughman but not going to improve now. i look forford to watching lebedev`s progress as he is stepped up. not much happening in the uk at world level at cruiser |

Yep really looking forward to Lebedev making the step up in his career. Entertaning fighter.
Also Herbie Hide needs to get in gear and fight for a title before he is too old... |

I know Masternak a lot, but Kolodziej a bit, so I may underrate Kolodziej. |

And I know he's not European, but one more name to throw out there is Carlos Negron, who has looked like he's improving his last few fights and has the length to give anyone problems.
Of the guys mentioned, I like Lebedev the best, although I haven't seen much of any of them. The other one I've seen a few times is Kolodziej, and I wasn't particularly impressed by him (or Hutkowski), though I haven't seen his last few fights. |

There really isn't anybody that springs to mind whom Lebedev couldn't conceivably smash down, on any given Saturday (or other day ending in Y).

Kraj retired.. hes running some hotel..
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I dont think that hell come back. Arslan is back in training after his bike accident afaik it was reported that he will return in summer. Steve Herelius was named as his possible opponent. Quote:
Brudov pulled out too after DKP won the purse bid.. you cant stripp him if youre simple not able to get this guy a fight.. Its a WBA belt and there is not even an interims title around.. it looks like nobody want that belt.. Huck vs Brian Minto on 1st May is on

I was wondering about Tokarev also. That guy was a beast. I'm assuming he's retired?
Huck/Minto is a complete joke. Minto doesn't belong in the top 10 and Lebedev, Aleexev, Drodz, and Ross are all more worthy challengers. How bout Steve Cunningham? That guy can't catch a break. Don King is (no shock) killing his career and now it looks like the fight this week with Godfrey is off. Lebedev is certainly scary. I do think a guy like Jones would give him problems, but there are many guys in the top 10 who would want no part of him. |

The CW division is underrated, a lot of good fighters in there but they are not going at each other.
Cunningham, Huck, Lebedev, Wlodarczik, Hide, Drozd, Jones, Alekseev, Ross, Afolabi, Ramirez, Hernandez, Flores, Maccarinelli, Brudov, Frenkel, Palacios, are just some of the quality names in the division, as a reminder. Adamek and Chambers might be around depending on the offer. Anyone know what happened to Sauerland proposition of creating another super six series, this time with CWs? that would be nice. |

Love that guy, he's old though
I remember reading something about Lebedev and how he wasn't boxing, working shit jobs and Povetkin who is his freind encouraged him to start boxing again, got him to come down to his gym got his coach to take a look at him and his career took off from there. Was a heart warming story (no homo) and really made me respect Povetkin after reading what he did for him. |
