It'd be like if Souths beat the Dragons but somehow lost to teams like Knights, Raiders, etc (like the later two would ever happen ).

Although Mundine hasn't lost in years, he's simply been inactive when it comes to fighting decent opposition, and Medley, and co dont count.

If Federer opted to skip Wimbledon, the US Open and instead compete in the Ipswich Cup, The Darwin Classic, etc, I think you'd find that his ranking would plummet too, even though he'd stay undefeated.

Ash,

The discussion is about KO's and 20a87 stating how hard it is to KO someone.

Set out purely to demonstate that Mundine finds it harder than most as demonstrated by his comparatively low KO percentage.

The list of 12 is not my work - straight out of FIST mag.

This list of percentages is not my work either - straight out of BoxRec.

...any further questions?

It's got nothing to do with nut-hugging or fear.
There's just easier money there for a bloke with fast hands & great technique.
Better than getting in with bomb-throwers.
Simple
Tend to agree with this

Here's the Top 12 Aussie P4P fighters in order according to FIST magazine:

1/ Vic Darchinyan
2/ Danny Green
3/ ANTHONY MUNDINE
4/ Michael Katsidis
5/ Daniel Geale
6/ Sakio Bika
7/ Lovemore N’dou
8/ Lenny Zappavigna
9/ Billy Dibb
10/ Rob Medley
11/ Dominic Vea
12/ Oyewale Omotoso

Here's the same 12 fighters listed in order of career KO percentage (as per BoxRec):

1/ Oyewale Omotoso – KO percentage 87.5%
2/ Danny Green – KO percentage 80.7%
3/ Dominic Vea – KO percentage – 76.9%
4/ Michael Katsidis – KO percentage 75%
5/ Vic Darchinyan – KO percentage 73%
6/ Lenny Zappavigna – KO percentage 65.2%
7/ Sakio Bika - KO percentage 57.6%
8/ Rob Medley – KO percentage – 56.7%
9/ Daniel Geale *– KO percentage 56.5%
10/ ANTHONY MUNDINE – KO percentage 56.1%
11/ Lovemore N’dou – KO percentage 51.7%
12/ Billy Dibb – KO percentage – 48.2%

The numbers say it all baby!
As usual you have grabbed the wrong end of the stick and run away with it

The comment I initially responded to suggested knock out ability had something to do with being a world beater. The sport we choose to follow is boxing and mundine is a world class boxer, knock outs are a bonus spectacle when they occur but not the be all and end all to being a great fighter. Danny green isn't a one punch KO artist a fact choc alludes to in the man vs machine promo video.

Obviously being a street fighting legend you will know only too well the ease with which you can knock out a professional fighter.

I don't actually know why putting a list up has any relevance to the discussion , Mundine isn't a ko artist but he's a better boxer than everyone else on the list. The fact remains that boxing fans think it's a piece of piss to put on the gloves and knock somebody out (who has no doubt being training to avoid this whilst punching back) who doesn't want to be knocked out. The fact is a big puncher doesn't equate to being world class e.g. oganov.

Boxers like pbf, mundine, ward, calzaghe are world class but don't knock everybody out.

I know I'd rather have mundine's jab than prince naseem's power.

LOL!

A dumber answer would be hard to imagine.

Won't dignify it any further than that.

As stated earlier by your 'good' self KO's are hard to acheive, and the facts show that Mundine is far less able to acheive them than most other fighters of any similar ability - get over it sweetheart!

Thought you were not going to dignify this with a further response.

I think you should just leave sticks alone full stop.

You are arguing an argument that doesn't exist, no one has said mundine is a knock out machine or that he has the best ko ratio in boxing. What are you reading?

The debate (before you needlessly humiliated yourself) was that mundine was not a "world beater" due to a lack of knock out power. I disagreed with this as I believe boxing skills are worth more than power and mundine has by far better skills than the likes of green and katsidis on your meaningless list.

I could harp on all night and take the piss out of you, but to be frank you are doing a better job on yourself than I could.

I know you will leave me something to laugh at in the morning so thanks I guess.

You seem to be the one getting all excited in your constant struggle with denial 20a87!

Hilarious stuff - the bounds of your bromance with Mundine know no bounds!

The Fist magazine is now owned by Angelo Hyder who is the trainer of both Vic and Danny Green. Did you think he would of put Choc above the two guys he gets money from. Its called common sense.
