Yes, some shocking refereeing, I do not always agree with it, but you can understand sometimes why a corner storms the ring sometimes, I think they would of been perfectly justified there

Whatever round Elijah Tillery kicked Riddick Bowe and Rock Newman grabbed Tillery around the neck and pulled him over the ropes and out of the ring.

Yes Vockerman, I would mention Dempsey-Firpo, too.
Another (not so well known) crazy fight took place in Germany in 1952.
Peter Müller fought against Hans Stretz for the German middleweight championship. Müller was shorter and tried to fight on the inside. But every time he did so, the referee (Mr. Max Pippow) ordered a break and stopped the infight. Shortly after such a break Müller scored a spectacular knock out - against the referee!! Mr.Pippow went down to the canvas. Several officials entered the ring then, but Peter Müller chased them out of the ring. Police escorted him to the dressing room . He got a suspension after that.
