God, what a speed freak Patterson was. He has the best combination of speed power and technique I have ever seen. Harold Carter went on to become a top heavyweight contender.

My ultimate dream fights are Patterson vs Walcott, Charles. I actually feel Patterson would have beaten Ezz in his prime.

Too bad Damato denied us Patterson vs Machen, Folley, Williams, Valdez in the late 1950s.

Patterson seems to get the short end of the stick these days. Maybe because I've always seen him as more of a natural Light Heavy I rate him higher than most. Terrific combination puncher.
