The Russian team has been announced:
48kg: David Airapetyan (He has finally beaten the experienced Sergei Kazakov).
51kg: Georgiy Balakshin
54kg: Sergei Vodopyanov (19 years old, I am really excited about this talent).
57kg: Albert Selimov
60kg: Alexei Tischenko
64kg: Gennadiy Kovalev (Looks like he has pushed out the veteran Maletin, which is a shame. Maletin will probably retire.)
69kg: Andrei Balanov.
75kg: Matvei Korobov
81kg: Artur Beterbiev (has definitively taken Makarenko's place. Makarenko said if he doesn't make olympics he will retire...)
91kg: Rakhim Chakhiev (Chakhiev beat Romanchuk in the deciding sparring match as well as the nationals. Romanchuk may now go pro)
91+: Islam Timurziev (Seems to have beaten Sergeev, who upset him in the finals of the nationals.)

AIBA has redesigned their webpage and it will have live scoring during the fights for those interested.

I'm going to be really interested in seeing how the US team members fare if they draw or end up fighting any of the Russian team. It will be a big test and kind of a litmus test to see where the US team needs to be at and how they need to improve over the next year.

Many nations will be in the torunament. I don't think we are going to see many USA vs Russian matches, unless the USA fighters make it to the quarters or semi's. Outside of an early draw, there won't be many USA vs Russian matches. Maybe we will see one or two in total.

My previous list wasn't entirely correct, it's Oltványi in 54kg not Kalucza. So here's the official list:

48 kg: Pál Bedák
51 kg:
Gergő Szalai
54 kg: Dávid Oltványi
57 kg: Sándor Rácz
60 kg: Miklós Varga
64 kg: Gyula Káté
69 kg: Norbert Harcsa
75 kg: István Szili
81 kg: Imre Szellő
91 kg: József Darmos
+91 kg: Csaba Kurtucz
