Two wins and Audley will be in line for a world title fight. If he has to beat Wlad or Vitali to get to Haye then he will.

Audley would be decent preperation for haye to get used to fighting a tall, rangey fighter before going in with one of the K brothers - makes sense imo

Audley needs to prove he's at that level before he starts calling out Haye. No point having Haye's big long prep time for a fight if Audley is just going to fold.

Like some other posters i think that this would be a great fight for Haye if Harrison can string a win together. Will make a bit of cash from the promotional end and get some live action against a tall opponent who likes to keep things at range. Having said that i would predict a KO for Haye in 1-2 rounds so there wouldn't be that much to learn from the fight probably.

It would be a pointless fight for Haye and offer awful preparation for a Wlad fight. Wlad is better in every single area by so far that the only similarity is that him and Harrison are both tall.
Harrison paws with his jab 90% of the time, often just prodding it out until he lands a shot that gives him enough confidence to start popping it properly. He also has a far far far worse chin than Wlad, nothing like the power of Wlad and is a southpaw rather than orthodox to boot. So Haye has to move to a different direction to slip the jab, and then wins with the first punch he lands. The fight would be over in the first minute and he would then go to face Wlad with the preparation of having faced a male boxer of a similar height. |

People seem to forget that Audley doesn't actually like to punch. I see him being stopped & that being the end of that. Even if he did miraculously go on to win a World Title, it wouldn't change the fact that he is a total fucking plum, unless he got a new trainer & a complete attitude overhaul.
I've said it before, until he sits down on telly & goes: "Fucking hell Buncey, I've been a right twat haven't I, what the fuck was I thinking?" - I cannot support the lad. He's been moaning about Haye for about 3 years, remember he blogged about Haye hitting him too hard in sparring? Ahh diddums. |

I just hope come 11-15pm on friday night this guy will realise he was never gonna be a top heavyweight fighter ... ive supported the guy and dont condone the booing he recieves but cmon enough is enough .... olympic medals aside he has dissapointed during his career ...
Beating 3 good journeymen level fighters in prizefighter doesnt warrant him a shot at a heavyweight world title .. lets get real ere ! ... he couldnt even outbox Martin Rogan over ten rounds who lets be fair isnt the most stylish boxer weve seen on these shores.. Saying that Sprotts lost 4 of his last 6 bouts so how much does sprott have left in the tank ? .... so who knows if we have heard the last of Audley ... |
