Default Carl Froch

I actually think Froch will beat both Kessler and AA (I dont think Kessler is finished or a fraud etc etc i just think Froch stops him late in a very hard fight), but am curious how he would react if he lost one, either by decision or stoppage. He seems a very confidence based fighter as most are, but how would he handle it. Losing the belt and unbeaten record in 1. Would it create an urgency to re prove himself and come back even stronger or would it take a massive part of who he is. Guess a home town points loss could be addreessed but a stoppage loss would end the granite chin persona he has.

Would he react like Dirrell did or prove all the general forum haters right and go onto another defeat.

I've wondered that myself. He is supremely confident and mentions his '0' plenty times in a interview.

I think he's a very smart guy in terms of knowing the ins and outs of the sport and i think it would depend a lot on how he loses, A KO could be devastating because he loses his hardman image but in saying that he jumped off floor to beat Taylor into submission so that tells a little bit about him in adversity.

I think he will lose to both, possibly stopped both times.

all this 'im back with my old trainer, im a new man and a different fighter' is all bullshit from kessler and i think froch will weather an early storm possibly put down early even, only to stop kessler late.

abraham on the other hand is a different beast, the only way froch beats him is to get home advantage, get those early five or six rounds (when arthur is asleep) in the bank and then get on his bike for the rest of the fight then he wins, wont happen though as froch likes a swing up and his heart will rule his head and carl will get stopped late in the fight, for me his punches are a bit to loopy whereas arthurs are straighter and harder.

If he loses to Kessler, he'd have one hell of a mighty task to comeback against AA. In full confidence, without his chin taking a dent, he still finds it hard going against AA imo. Saying that, he doesn't strike me as the type of person to give up when the going gets tough, he's a winner is Froch and I don't think he'd stop til he set the record straight.

I think Froch will KO Kessler late after Kessler bosses the first half of the fight.

I just hope the Abraham fight is not in Germany, if it is then the only chance I give Froch is knocking Abraham out fairly early.

I hope he wins both of them. Not technically the best fighter in the world as we all know. But you have to admire his heart and his confidence.

Kessler did not change after Calzaghe and training videos (as short as they may be) suggest he hasn't changed after Ward.

I agree, it would be interesting to see Froch lose. Kessler is his hardest fight possibly because he'll box at range and maybe not engage. Froch has to engage. I'd be impressed if he outboxed him as I don't think he has the speed or a massive skill advantage.

Abrahams is a good fight for Froch. He covers up, is stationary and allows Froch to box while bombing him.

As opposed to your hero Amir Khan who beat the robotic Kotelnik in a fight he never even deserved infront of his home crowd?

My point is at least Froch fought a noteworthy name for the world title in his backyard. Since you have no idea about boxing outside Khan you probably fail to realize Froch worked his way up the rankings to EARN his shot and was let down by fighters pulling out against him and Joe Calzaghe vacated which is no fault of Froch's.

All Khan did was tell Frank ****** to pay off Kotelnik for an easy handpicked fight at a weight he'd never even fought at.

A Khan fan talking about manufactured champs..couldn't make this shit up
