There is absolutley nothing behind his jab.

His right can be seen coming before he even starts to throw it.

In short he is shite and more reflexion of the state of the HW division at the Olympics than anything.

He makes Audley Harrison look like a young George Forman, no way he gets to the world HW title.

I haven't seen him as a pro yet, but what I saw of him in a few amateur bouts was far from impressive, he looked very sloppy and very very ordinary.
I will withhold judgement until I've seen a few pro fights, but KOing a load of bottom end guys who are not even good enough to class as journeymen does not mean much.

Ironically whilst there is far greater depth to US boxing than UK in terms of good sparring and larger numbers of good and solid fighters there are also far more "pros" who would simply never get a licence in the UK.
Many of the people fed to a prospect like Wilder have literally no am background and might have spent all of a month in a gym before applying for a licence and getting one.

There's no stopping this kid as he continues to maul his way through the division like a hot knife through butter. Him and Price need to fight asap.

Who is next up for him....does anyone know

Looks like the plan is 6 times a year and with the matchmaking no doubt he 32-0 with 32 knockouts by the end of 2013-

I honestlythink his team should look at Rahman or Lykovich...past champs, past there best but could extend him over 4 rounds which he has never done.

Wake up! This guy is the American version of Fraudley - a total fraud who fights nothing but tomato cans because he's packing GLASS in his mandible.

This joke got knocked out in the amatuers with HEADGEAR on (check about 1:57 in)!

BORKED

Even against the cab drivers and bar patrons he's been padding his record against, his china chin has been exposed. Here he hitting the deck against the formitable tomato can Harold Sconiers:

And here's this FRAUD getting put on queer street by some guy who looks like he trains at the bar doing 12 ounce curls (i.e. lifting the beer and putting it to your mouth). Go about 40 seconds in to see this joke Wilder taste canvas against this fat slob:

BORKED

Case closed. Wilder has an OBVIOUS glass jaw, his handlers know it, which is why FOUR YEARS into his career, he's still fighting stiffs, and pathetic stiffs at that.

If it cracks like china, particularly against pathetic opposition like this, chances are it IS china.

Wilder is a KO waiting to happen. Once which WILL happen as soon as he fights a live body.

You're 100% right about Wilder. But you're still an ass.

I don't really think you can judge Wilder yet in all honesty because his competition has been so woeful. Manswell and Price are the only OK name on his record in all honesty and that is terrible for someone who turned pro in 2008.

To be fair to him Wlad spoke quite highly of him after their sparring sessions but that could have just been politeness. I will wait and judge him until he is in with a live body but he does look like a KO waiting to happen.

Golden Boy are frankly doing a terrible job with him

Considering how fragile he's looked and how little he's come on skillwise, I think GBP are getting it exactly right.

Wilder is a chump.

On paper his record looks good 27 fights 27 wins 27 KOs, but then you see his opponents and it's laughable.

David Haye's 27th fight was against Klitschko. Wilder's 27th fight against a no-name schmuck bus driver. I can't wait until this bum fights someone half-decent and gets knocked out.

The real talented young guys... like Price, Helenius and Fury would destroy this bum.

America's #1 HW prospect is Malik Scott. He would totally school Wilder.
