Default Carl Froch...if he'd been promoted by Frank ******.

Do you think his career might have actually progressed a little? He'd have lost eventually against the high quality opponents ****** puts fighters in with, but he would at least have fought a few decent fighters.

His career has progressed at a snails pace, yet ****** is the only promoter who gets critisised. It is my opinion of all British promoters, ****** is the one who developes quality fighters the best and gets them to where they are going the fastest.

Enzo's next fight is forgivable, he has plenty of years left in the sport.

Enzo's next fight is not the fight of a world champion. If Froch had been promoted by FW he would now be the WBU champion of the world.

Look at this. All attacking ******, forgetting the crimes of the rest.

There are three types of promoters in Britain

The Maloney's who let their fighter fight out of their depth, destroying them.

The Hobson's who are plain awful. See Froch for an example.

Then there is Frank who brings his fighters on at steady pace. Has teh greatest sucess and puts on the best matches (Calzaghe - Kessler, Hatton - Tszyu). Frank ****** truly is one of a kind.

****** does put his fighters In alot of learning fights for good reason and It truly shows us what their level really Is and he pays his fighters well so he looks after them.

Most of the fans think they need tough fighters who are too good for them or not ready for within 20 fights but It ruins them In the end.

Frank's been pressured to step Khan up becuase of Amir's hype and talk but even he thinks Khan needs more time.

What about Hennessy and Hearn China Hand?

I agree about Hobson, he pretends to be a big shot but doesn't deliver but fans believed his crap because he had Hatton and now the Hatton's are promoted by Oscar.

Actually Froch is promoted by by Mick Hennessy. Frank ****** is a disgrace, how many superfights has he made? 3? out of potentially dozens

You've illustrated the point perfectly there, he's Britains biggest promoter in terms of revenue, is quite happy to talk up the pedigree of his of stable fighters, but delivers next to nothing.

Interchangable names, both ******'s unworthy rivals.

Maloney is ok though, he just have as talented a stable as ******. It is amazing what ****** has done with boxing in as small a place as the UK.

I cannot praise him enough.

There Is not enough praise for someone who can sell 60,000 plus tickets for a godly event like Calzaghe and Kessler, yet De La Hoya puts a big fight In an 18,000 seater casino.

At least Frank can guarantee them a ticket. Frank even outbidded DLH when Scott Harrison nearly fought Marquez before pulling out with problems.

****** does what he does to protect his investments and make money...

in some cases, the steady development of his fighters is just a happy coincidence.

if david haye was managed by frank ****** do you think he'd be getting a shot at mormeck now or would he be british champ with the promise of a fight with maccarinelli in a few more years?

Steady pace?!? Yes, he has much succes with his WBO and WBU orgs where he can pick the opponents no matter how crappy they are. Is Hatton not fighting a much bigger name than Tszyu now? Funny how that happened after he was wise and courageous enough to leave ******. I wonder how big Calzaghe would have been if he had had the balls to leave.

This is spot on, if Haye was with ****** he'd probably only be fighting Carl Thompson or someone of that quality now. ****** does what makes him money forgoing the needs of his fighters and just feeds them some bullshit line about not being ready for a tidal shot. And he then gives them the big shot at the end of their career, look at Calzaghe, he's 35 now and only prob got 3/4 big fights left in him which will have given him about 6/7 in his career, he could have had 34 big fights in him had he been put out there much earlier.

****** was trying to make Calzaghe - Hopkins somewhere around 2000. Jeff Lacy was the first highly regarded American not to have a phobia of welsh-southpaws.

Trying, yes probably he was, but how hard, he just didnt want to cut his profits enough for it too happen. I would love to believe that all the top americans have avoided/ yanks prices thenselves out a fight with calzaghe, china hand, but there comes a point where you begin to think that something else is the problem, and that problem must be ******.
