![]() If you talk the talk then you have to walk the walk. Hamed was the classic example. Easily dislikeable but you couldn't help but admire him him for what he did in the ring. Froch falls short. Big time. |

Great fight against a tough fighter that if he loses he might aswell retire thats a hard gig and by no means does Froch fall short BIG time. hes got 2 glaring issues his stupid low hands (he can/occasionally does bring em up and hes much more effective then particularly with the jab) and he needs to be able to apply the pressure at the right times not just to appear macho when hes clipped.
Hamed was great and unique and you can only beat whos in front of you I think Carl who's said to be limited and just a tough guy with hard whiskers has done gr8 things. This fight dont make him shit, by any means |

I'm not the biggest fan of Froch, the man. But I think he deserves a hell of a lot of credit and respect for fighting like a warrior tonight, and giving his all for our enjoyment. He lost a close fight to a top SMW who also gave his all!
Froch is not finished. He was never as good as he said he was, but then, most of us knew that anyway. I am looking forward to his next fight. He is a serious force in the division and no one will have an easy night against him.
