(Another) Floyd Vs Shane Question...

Wotcha,

Having read the (many) Floyd/Shane threads, is there anyone else - like me - that's just looking forward to watching a great fight?

I've been watching boxing for a long time, and have fought myself. I'm not up to the level of critiquing/condemming/endorsing particular fights that many of the posters on this board are. I have opinions but not that I'd want to get into a forum-fight over.

Of course I have my favourites and loyalties to certain fighters and their records... but as a fight fan this fight - regardless of favouritism or anecdotes or record or press/P.R - is one I am really looking forward to.

I don't mean to set off either fan-camp, but there must be so many of us that just want to watch a good fight.

I'll be happy whoever wins. I just want the fight to live up to it's billing. Trash talk aside. Personal hatreds aside. Records aside. I dont want a quick K.O, I want to watch two high class technicians go at it.

Yep, I honestly can't recall getting this geeked up for a fight probably since Cotto v. Plaster of Paris. You know it's a mega fight week when not even work, traffic, the Girlfriend, slow lag stream on eskimo (lol) can even mess with that cheeseburger smile on your face lol! This fight can't come soon enough. It's kind of stressful to be in this good a mood all week knowing Saturday night is the cherry on this sundae.
