Hey people I'm doing a boxing article on British boxing prospects and my top 10 are as follows, but I'm trying to search for footage and information on Dale Miles whose record on boxrec is impressive for a young prospect having beaten, Askew, Kenny and Docherty already in his 9 fights. But I want to write about his style, potential weaknesses and how far he could go, does anyone on here know much about him?
Oh and for the record the article has the the top 10 British prospects list from 10-1 as this. Thoughts? 10.Stephen Smith 9.Joe Murray 8.Dale Miles 7.Billy Joe Saunders 6.Kenny Anderson 5.Ashley ***ton 4.Tony Bellew 3.James DeGale 2.Frankie Gavin 1.George Groves |

I'd have Gavin as No.1 without a doubt.
***ton wouldn't be in their IMO , neither would Dales either to be honest, Kenny Anderson has done nothing of note really to be included in that list. Heffron should be on that list James Degale would not be No.3 either Stephen Smith would be ahead of Joe Murray You have no Scott Quigg but the others mentioned ? All in all mate i'd say it was a very bad list

I've seen both DeGale and Gavin, and they're both really impressivily and have faced decent competition for there first few fights, but Gavin has looked more impressive. I put ***ton in there for his brutal last two knockouts have made people stand up and take notice, Kenny Anderson perhaps is a bad mistake I might take him out. As for Heffron I don't know really anything about him but he's only had two fights, I'll do some much more research on him. Thanks for the advice mate. |

No worries pal. I'd say Gavin's opponents have been a much higher level than Degales so I agree with you having him higher but I think No.3 is too high for DeGale.
Possibly agree with Quigg excuse but he's still on the verge of big things ![]() You're talking prospects though in this list and if i'm honest I dont really see ***ton going anywhere past Brit level Agree with the Anderson thing. But if you already admit to having Dales in without knowing nothing about him them you should/could have Heffron in their. Oh and Gavin is a better prospect than Groves too i'd say so i'd have him at 1 |

Yeah, boxrec was my friend with Dale Miles, I was just impressed with the level of his competition. It looked like he was bought in as cannon fodder for other 'prospects' in a couple of fights and won them both. Thats what made me put him on that list, doing a bit more research and I've found out he spars with Young Mutley and has been offered as an opponent for Dean Harrison and Lenny Daws who turned him down. Seems to have some good power too.
Yeah I said on my list ***ton has good power but will probably be beaten once he faces the Japanese/Thailand fighters who are deadly at flyweight. I remember when Lee Haskins was put down as a future flyweight champion. |

Know Mutley has been singing Miles's praises since returning to the Shinfields. Dont know much else tbh honest, when he stopped Rob Kenney apparently it was a heavy KO. |

Heffron? He has only had 2 fights against the usual opponents. He is way to young to be stepped up in the coming years, he has a long way to go to be considered a top prospect yet. |
