Lots of people are probably going to heavily favor tMW based on being the bigger name (along with having come through the fire against Angulo and really made a lot of doubters eat crow after the Ishida upset and his lackluster post-incarceration performances leading up to it...wobbled a bit by Berrio, etc.) - buuuuuuuut...

I just don't see him beating Molina by anything but knockout. Even with Wolfe pulling the puppet strings and "manning" the cockpit in his brain (if you will) his boxing just isn't up to snuff against Carlos'. It's gotta be a KO - or else it's a robbery...but of course let's not ever assume such unpleasant outcomes are going to happen, even if they are common...

The thing is, nobody's ever done it. Knocking out Molina would be a huge accomplishment and a hell of a statement. It would take some pretty freakish power.

Fortunately for Kirkland, he does have that kind of power. He hits harder than arguably any of the hardest hitters Molina has ever shared a ring with (and obviously survived): Cintron, Conyers, Lara, Alvarado, tiny green Chavez Junior...

Forced to pick, I'm going to stick my neck out and say that King Carlos does make it to the final bell for the upset - and Boxing Gods willing, doesn't get robbed.

If Kirkland does pull some highlight reel KTFO-cold punch out of his ass, though - it will be a surprise but not a shock.

Molina has quality experience. Good all-around boxer, I don't think Kirkland's bully tactics will prevail. I think it goes to the cards in any event, I think Molina wins a close decision.
