So wait a minute, what's your point? That Hamed didn't beat the same level of opposition as Monzon? Well, you'd have to spend a long time getting people out of the hall of fame then.

As for Hamed, I think you'll find that most people do have him on their list. To say he never beat anyone significant is to demonstrate an utter ignorance of boxing, and thus to lose all credibility. In short, I recommend you start finding out about the sport before you mouth off about all-time greats.

He did not beat anyone regarded as near hof, entertainment value, then yes he was entertaining and could get in their on that aspect....but not quality of opposition and wins.

Thats not how you get into the boxing hall of fame, who you beat etc doesn't mean anything it's all about the name not who's the best boxer.

Outside of some insane injustice, Steve Robinson will get into the hall of fame. Hamed has a host of other world class wins, plus you have to take into account his Tyson-like dominance.

Naseem had fame, thus he should be there. The Hall of Fame is not necessarily for great fighters, but for famous ones. How else would Barry McGuigan be there?

Naz was good for the sport. Anyone who says otherwise is a hater. He was one of the biggest box office draws of the 90s. Boxing needs big names like him, or the lower tier fighters wouldn't make as much money.

the only reason naz was a big name is because he had a big mouth. nothing to do with talent or career accomplishment. as soon as he came up against a world level fighter he got found out...he was lucky to hang in against kelly but barrera showed him up for what he truely was/is..a gobshite in frilly shorts

How anyone can say Monzon doesn't deserve to be in Hall Of Fame is laughable, what thre fuck are you smoking Kurgan. Thats right up their with saying Duran or SRR should not be in it. Yes he was a flawed man outside of the ring, but he is undoubdtedly the greatest middleweight fighter of all time.Jeez
