Vitali is remembered for breaking Lewis' nose badly. Lewis was out of it and would have been stopped in the very next round. Vitali staggered Lewis, Lewis could not hurt Vitali at all. A cut? Angelo Dundee said that Vitali was cheated out of a title that night. Max pretty said as much.

Vitali is remembered as beating all of the poster's heroes! Vitali will continue to clean out the heavyweight division, while Haye runs like Hell! Vitali former WBO champion and two time WBC champion. Vitali came back after a 4 year lay-off and stopped Peter in the 8th rd. Vitali six time kickboxing champion, superheavyweight division, both pro and amateur. Vitali won the military championship, International championships, etc. Great amateur career.

Vitali is hated, by some, because he kicks arse!

If there is something Vitali will be remembered for, is his KO ratio. People have the audacity to say he throws arm punches but at the end of the fight, only 2 have managed to make the distance.

Chris Byrd would probably like to thank those 15 people.

Why are you morons so obsessed with ****ing numbers? Are you all really that simple or can you not actually be bothered to think up arguments?

He'll be remembered for being everything his brother is not....and vice versa..

If we could somehow combine these two, we'd have ourselves one of, if not THE most devestating HW Champions the world has ever seen. Fact.

This IMHO. Plus for dominating all the opponets since then up until his 40's (actually ALL the opponents he faced not counting 2 losses on injuries). And for his KO ratio and the number of LOST ROUNDS overall.

I'm not that much of a Wlad fan, but Vitali one of my all time favs.

Surviving against Kevein Johnson, one more round and I tell you Kingpin would have thrown a punch, it would have knocked him spark out.

Vitali Klitschko's career defining moment was when he was born. Unfortunately for him, he isn't black and he isn't American. (Or British for that matter.)

Although, at the same time. He did LOSE to a shot Lennox Lewis. Lewis's prime was in 1992. The year Bowe (who had just beaten Holyfield) refused to fight him and gave him his WBC title belt. Because Lewis had just crushed Razor Ruddock in 2 rounds and Bowe still remembered being beaten by Lewis as an amateur.

Klitschko faught a Lewis that didn't care anymore. He already beat everyone in his era, had all the money he'd never spend, and was far too busy playing chess. He was so "hyped" before fights that when his opponents were warming up, he was asleep in his room.

Handling Briggs like he's an amateur won't be a CDM, but it'll be an exciting fight, while it lasts.

Vitali, TKO, round 7
