when you quit when you are 4 rounds ahead, with only 4 rounds left, because it is "too hot", its time to quit. He has not got the heart anymore to be a fighter.

That was really strange. He looked nachered after punching himself out in that last round but he would have got his gas back after a round or so of coasting. I've never seen a fighter quit like that, basically because they couldn't be bothered. The win obviously didn't mean that much to him.
Enjoy your retirement Ian Napa, you're one of the most skilled british boxers I can remember and I'll miss seeing your silky smoothness on these shores. |

looked like a loss of desire, its a very hard game, even when your heart and souls in it, so its best to stop when its not, hes a very good litle boxer whos got a list of titles, so all the best to him.

I agree with this doesnt strike me as the dedicated type considering how small he is he seems to struggle with the weight and didnt exactly lok in great shape. I think he has all the skills to have been a force at world level and probably have a bit more punching power IF he had campaigned 2 weight classes lower. Not sure he lived the life though his achievements arent to be sniffed at.

Think its time for him to hang the gloves up now, lost a bit of respect for Napa friday night.
As has been said though he can certainly be proud of his achievements. |
