Duddy hasn't shown much adaptability to change, whereas I think Chavez jr. will show us something we haven't seen before. To each his own I guess.

Roach is indeed the wildcard here (so to speak).
If Chavez does show us something different, I'll give a lot of the credit to Freddie. Julio's adaptability so far has been less than desirable for a veteran of 42 fights. |

from the roach /chavez sparring....they seem to be working on banging out counterpunches
john throws a hook and chavez jr ducks and flies up..bang bang with his...john is gonna get hit with that maybe twice...and then see it. and then the pattern is gone. jr might have some bravado and try to slug with him. and after being hit...he will change that plan.... john in the meantime will be coming at him like a serial killer michael myers style. jabbing just to get close enough to get in and do that work.
