I was thinking more; would Pavliks hittability give Pyatt a chance? I see an exciting scrap either way, though I'd favour Pavlik to stop Pyatt between 7-10. Pyatt was a heavy hitter though, although I admittedly don't rate Pavlik very highly. I'm not certain Hopkins 'ruined'him; just think the 1st Taylor fight might have flattered him.

That gets him past a 37 year old Kalambay, but probably not a Pavlik, who clearly has his own limitations, but still has a far better pedigree than Pyatt. |

A 37 year old Kalambay aside, Pyatt doesn't have a decent world class win on his record. He's the epitome of a Euro class fighter.

Considering his three losses were to Benn (who would probably be the first to say he wasn't a typical classy fighter), Ralph Ward and Dennis Milton...how many classy fighters fought McClellan, and won?

Yes, McClellan was massively overrated.
Then again, Eubank is even more so. And Benn. |

BEnn and Eubank get their careers assessed fairly.
G-Man gets elevated due to hypotheticals rather than actual performances. |
