thanks guys for the warm welcome.....ashley you said mundine was sparring.....was that too loose weight or was it for fitness?sounds like he is going to come in at 70.5 kilos too me....is mundine a group 1 jockey or is he just a jumps jockey....!

HI doc, good to see you finally signed up I reakon mundine can make weight if he wants to, and if he is getting the right advice. My take is he will get close to the weight and say i can do it easy so bugger it il just fight a bit over, and if he gets a title fight at that weight he will push that little bit extra , make weight and fight like shit.

Choc is only 5''10 and a half, he has too much muscle on him as well,big back and legs, if he barred the weights off and went vegan during camp, he would make the weight easy.

Bad management and bad advice is gona cost him a legacy. SAD.

So much potential, he should of started his career at junior middle,as he was naturally a skinny kid before he hit the weights for st george, and for some reason they decided super middle was a good starting point. Absolute madness

I think you hit the nail right there. Yes he will fight like utter crap with NO power and arguably less speed and stamina after being weight drained. Mundine at 160 has looked like complete shit, and going down another 6 pounds (a very big IF there first), will only give him less pop. The guy won't be able to punch through a mold of jelly at this weight and at this age.

Everyone should check the odds for a Mundine UD win, as it's about as much of a lock as it can get. Another case of fighting another blownup welterweight journeyman, who will take the man the distance.
