LETS NOT FORGET.......mundine is chinny, hittable like so many cab drivers have shown (sean sullivan beat mundine in fight number one, despite have had a total 'brazillian' the day before.........seans tough)

lewis is out of the scene. hes old, forgotten, and trying to jump on the mundine/leapai bandwagon.

i got news for you johnny.......you aint needed. but all us aussie boxing fans appreciate what you have given us.
Sal im not saying its a walk up win for choc but pavlik is a plodding danny green clone, tailor made for mundine and hopkins hasnt "hunted" anyone down in a decade.
to completely write him off in these match ups has more to do with hatred of mundine than any displayed knowledge of boxing.

All of these Great fighters would have used Mundine as there Whipping Boy,its simple they proved themselves on the World stage against the absolute best as for Mundine the only 2 times he has fought genuine world Class Fighters he was spanked severely.!!!

I the case of Lewis it goes to show anyone has a Price.!!!

Not Him Mate, just a Fan but you are correct back then there was no where to hide there was one World Champion in each division and if You ever got a crack at a World title and knocked it back you would be branded a coward for life.

Turn the Clock forward to now and there so many different divisions its bloody hard to keep up,and very few of them have any credibilitry at all,the only one I take any notice of is the WBC at least you have to fight on the World stage to be rated in there Top 10 as for the WBA it would have to be the Biggest disgrace in World Boxing today and there Top 10 in most weight divisions is like reading a Fairy tale.!!!!

I used to respect Johnny Lewis when he was with Tszyu. After the bullshit he's been sprouting about Mundine lately either he is going senile or on Team Mundine's payroll. If he said that to knowledgable boxing folk he'd be laughed out of the interview.

No way Mundine beats any of these guys. Pavlik would thump the shit of him and Hopkins would easily outbox him. Joe Calzaghe would beat Mundine with one hand tied behind his back, I'm not even joking with that.

Mundine has done nothing in his career to even suggest he could compete with these guys. The only champions he fought easily beat him. Kessler outclassed him in his own backyard, with an injured back no less, and Otkke who hits like a girl made him sleep like a log for 10 minutes.

Agreed.

Lewis comes across as a complete fool for these arse kissing comments!!

A win over Pavlik is and would've been the only realistic outcome of his stupid predictions and even then, he most likely would have frozen with fear when Pavlik fired straight left and right hands with intent at Mundines silly melon.

Johnny seems to be caught up in the media hysteria of training ready made champions and thinks his opinions carry weight.... Haha.

Just when I thought Lewis was a fool, he comes out and removes all doubt by confirming that he is indeed an imbecile above all for these stupid remarks.

Plus is Johnny Lewis saying Mundine could beat both Hopkins and Calzaghe at 175 where he has never even fought ? What an imbecile he is.

This has to be a joke. Mundine is a C level fighter, was once a B level fighter. Those guys all school him or knock him out, GTFO of here with that shit.

I don't place much stock in what he says in the media, I think he's slowly becoming another media whore.
Yes mr Lewis should only comment on boxing when he too possesses over 12000 posts on a forum

Compared to the great minds on here they know nothing.
