Arslan is one of those fighters who probably arent any more talented than you and me however hes a hard working man and made his way to the top. he is limited as hell but a true warrior. i respect him and wish him all the best
hopefully he has something left in the tank.

Herelius is also very deserving. He agreed to fight everywhere, he took a fight on short notice at HW etc. This time he is in his natural division and he has prepared seriously with Germain (one of the best coach in France, the guy who prepared Mormeck for Hill 1). If the fight turns into a war he will be KOed but I hope he will be able to use his skills to avoid that.

Does anyone know how big in size Herelius really is ? I remember back in the days when he fought Antoine Palatis at heavy i was somewhat impressed of him. He was listed then at 6´5 and i thought of him as a bigger version of Jean Marc Mormeck. Now i´ve seen in boxrec that he is 6´0. I don´t think that he really is that small.

He is probably a bit taller than Mormeck but 6' seems a far better estimation than 6'5 ! The Monrose fights could give a fake impression cause Monrose is very small for a cruiser.

Arslan does not have huge power, so i don´t think he is able to knock Herelius out. Probably you mean he will try to tire Herelius out with his high guard/pressure style and get him TKOed. Arslan usually is making his opponents fight at a high pace and then capitalize of their stamina-problems. Herelius has to be in top shape. He for sure is the more skilled fighter, but stamina and heart often beat skills.

My question is, what is Firat's stamina like at 40?

it would be nice for the division if Arslan passes the torch to Herelius this weekend.

Herelius is not very active in the ring ( he has fought many fights at HW and if his pace was OK his workrate is a bit low for the cruiser div imo) so I don't think he will be exhausted.
No it's just I think he looks more solid than he is. He beat Monrose twice but I thought he looked a bit fragile for a former HW (physically and mentally) and he was rocked several times. Maybe it's a fake impression cause Monrose can punch...

Arslan got absolutely manhandled in his last bout is all I know and hasn't fought in ages . Bwin has this one at almost even odds which says it all even with home advantage .

I agree but I think Guillermo Jones has always been very underrated. It will be difficult for Herelius to apply the same strategy, sometimes he just forgets that the most important thing in a fight is to land clean punches !

Wow, so many predicting a stoppage victory for Arslan. Is Herelius so poor? I mena that Arslan is 40 years of age and has not fought for about 2 years and he is not that big puncher?

I was thinking about Arlsan by a decision.
