I hear Briggs has been sparring with Trent Broadhurst!

i think his going to need a hell of alot more than someone like Broadhurts, not punt intended to broadhurst. I dont think Paul is taking this fight seriouse and i suspect its only about a pay day and nothing more.

I'd like to see Briggs do well but just can't see it. Health problems, and inactivity will pull him up.

I must say he looked strong and slimmer at the Mundine fight last week....he must be doing the hard yards

I still dont get it how the IBO can legally sanction this bout and look at themselfs in the mirror each morning! I never read the article that cleared Paul of his health problems, all ive read is speculation that he is ok, best prey he is because a 3 yr retirment due to health problems and throwing him in with a current so called world champ is imo neglect at the highest level.

He should have been made to have a warmup fight at the very least. Dont get me wrong i am a huge fan of Paul Briggs but i dont think this is right and if Paul is hurt in any seriouse way there will be ramifications for yrs to come for the IBO.
Kickett is fighting Abner LLanasa over 4 rounds.

Phil Austin said any health fears have been alleviated in this article.for what thats worth.

I love how Austin mentions he stayed in the IBO top 25 after being retired for three years.

Even funnier when you check the IBO site and can't find Briggs' name anywhere in a June 2010 list of 100 cruiser weights.

I'm almost getting a bit excited about this fight....I know Green is holding the cards but lets face it Briggs is tough and has a good punchers chance....if his health problems are over then he could give it a shake.

I'm going to watch this fight....I know it's not p4p greatness on the world stage......am I contributing to the downfall of aussie boxing

For all the hard work and effort Briggs will put in his training i dont see this going well for him. I think he will go into his shell and not throw much at Green. Im sure he will be a fit as **** but wont be able to pull the trigger on the night. I hope im wrong.

Green TKO .... Briggs will take punishment but not go down. I hope its not a sad day for aussie boxing.

Briggs didn't finish Adamek off when he had a few chances, i doubt he is goiong to want to suddenly destroy one of his best mates, the fight is a sham to line Briggs pockets.

so am i.logic tells me Green should easily win.but im getting this one because the UC of Green fights are usually decent and i dont want to miss a possible cinderella story comeback and Briggs doing that hang ten thing Green does over Greens unconcious body.

Poor old retard - still going off half-****ed without the full set of facts! What was actually said was he still had enough points to come in at 25 following the lay-off. No-one said that he had remained rated in all that time. Still if it gives your pea-hearted pathetic existence some kind of validity, go for it

Lay off ???

He's been retired for three years you imbecile.

Were you waiting for an obituary before throwing his carry over points in the bin?
