Tough fight to call at this stage Craig, both are fairly untested, Kickett probably more so.
I think Willie might have more potential once he hones his skills a bit. But Lenny is starting to look worldclass and his style will take him places quickly. He has shown some *****s in the armour though. I reckon Lenny looks better now and has the better resume but Willie could well surpass him in time. I lean towards Lenny at this stage. Whats the verdict kegs? |

I liked Willies composure during that initial flurry last night, he covered up, nothing got through and then waited for his opening, took it and shortly thereafter finished it.
Lenny experienced a alightly similar scenario and suffered a first round knockdown which he did avenge. And more. Hard to judge who has the better from last night but I reckon Willies defense is a lot tighter. Still early on for both fighters but if they were to match up, would hope its for more than a national title for both fighters sakes. |

Willie has great boxing ability. Zappa can bang but I feel that he looks too much for the KO. Langham has the tools to beat Zappa and he showed that in the first, I feel that he went off the game plan and started fighting Lenny's fight. The punch that dropped Lenny was nice and short, but he then started throwing wild shots and got caught himself. Kickett IMO has the tools to beat Lenny but he will have to be on his game as Zappa can Bang!!!!

willie wins if he be's very slick for the first 2 to 3 rounds, Mundine style and then when lenny slows and gets frusted, he can just pick him apart with speed and angles.

Willy Kickett can beat Lenny Zappa no doubt in my opinion Craig.
I rate Kickett very highly as many on here would know. Kickett would have to watch Lenny's power early, but i reckon if he boxed smart & moves he can KO Lenny for sure. Lenny is very reckless at times & should Kickett stay disciplined he will have opportunities to KO Lenny IMO. If i was u Craig i would target a fight with the likes of a Allan Luxford in the near future as well. |

All the best with everything Craig with Willy, you are doing a wonderful job with him down at Harry's gym.
In the amateurs & sparring i saw Willy take on another fellow WA Aboriginal called Steve. They had some great battles. I thought he had the goods as well IMO. |

He's been dropped in his last two fights by guys who aren't notable punchers. Tell me another hot prospect anywhere in the world who has been decked in successive fights in a 11 bout pro career? His style WONT take him places quickly...he is becoming more of a punching, stand and deliver fighter...with a shaky chin, this is the style he DOESN'T want to be using. Hi sbest assets are his speed and skills...i actually think he is getting away from beinfg a boxer/mover and if he continues like this he's going to be trying to pick himself up off the canvas alot more. Kickett is a sharp shooter. Lenny is punching alot wider now...and early in the fight. He's regressing if you ask me. Willy will have plenty of opportunities to land on Lenny...and it doesn't take much to drop him. IF...Zappa tightened up and kept his head a little, he would have a better chance but I think he is getting right away from his "amateur" style and it's not helping him one bit. Kickett by ko. |

Hey Craig, welcome to the forum. I must say your doing a terrific job with Willie, keep it up. He is the new "man" in my eyes. Blistering hand speed, devastating power and perfect combinations. One of our best prospects for sure. I also like the way he lets his boxing do the talking. Zappavagina will get a shock when/if he steps in the ring with him. Kickett KO.
