Joe Murray was one of only 2 or 3 british boxers to get past the opening round in the world champs wasnt he? I see only super heavy david price won yesterday, every other brit fighter got beat on day 2.

I don't think Haroon is making much of a living of Amirs name, he's still an amateur...

Amir's still in the driving seat - where earnings are concerned but maybe Haroon will overtake him one day...

Hi Elle, thanks for the welcome.

There are of course the Klitchsko brothers. But both are very astute and powerful boxers, so not really much to compare there.

Then there are boxers whose fathers have been/are involved in the sport as well such as -

Enzo & Joe Calzaghe
Alan & Ross Minter
Barry & Shane McGuigan

Boxing can be quite a family affair when you come to think about it!

Jada Fire. Be warned though, if you do search for images you might want to do it when you're not in work or with the wife, my avatar is one of the few pictures I could find of her where she hasn't got something lodged up her backside...

Hopefully he gets a decent opponent in his fight on Ricky's undercard , the last guy he fought(Edwin Vasquez) wasn't that bad and something of a similar level would be good .
Yer Edwin Vasquez went the distance with Zab Judah a couple of weeks ago. Even nicked a round or two off him I reckon.

At least we started off well as both of the english boxers who boxed on the 1st day won their opening bouts - Joe Murray & Bradley Saunders.
