Default Mickey Vann

Doesn't seem to have changed in years. I remember him reffing top fights when I was a kid.... How old is he?

And he doesn't sound like he's from Leeds either, more like the south-east which considering he's also a fitness coach for the Leeds Rhinos (plus the boxing) makes quite a strange path.

Anybody got a biog of him? Seems a bit of a living legend imo...

He's 283 years old exactly, if you believe that "life begins at 40." And that his 40 years prior to life began when he stopped officiating jousting contests.

Mickey Vann's great, his line of 'no naughties with the head', has been there forever, although Ian John Lewis has a great line, he stands in between the boxers and says 'I am the weferee', slightly obvious, but classic none the less.
