I was just watching ESPN's top 10 heavyweights according to Sugar after work today.Chuvalo,Holmes and Atlas were on to.
Sugar is such a misquoting, interupting pompas, bullshitting ass! All this guy does is misquote old Ring magazine articles and down right make shit up. Just had to get that off my chest! tough day at work. |

To his credit he is one of the most fun loving and down to earth boxing celebrities I've ever met. I always thought he came off like a prick on TV too, but it is not the case at all.

Bert Sugar was/is a massive asset to the sport.
The casual mainstream (40+) know him and recognize him. Sure us hardcore marks think him beneath us, but his views are a damn sight more mainstream than our crazy pretentious views on this forum. |

Bert and Cosell are both people that I happen to like as people despite them driving me nuts professionally. I've learned to like them, they're part of "the family" to me because they're part of boxing. They're basically like two goofy uncles or cousins to me.
