Pacquiao hasn't agreed to any RANDOM testing. There is no such thing when you know the cut-off date.

He weighed 146 in the fight before. Question though, if that one pound was insignificant, then why did team pac make the demand and find it important enough to put it in the contract

Pac wanted 143, Cotto gave him a "take it or leave it" 145. Pac agreed to the 145.

Again, the 145 was Cotto's idea.

The catchweight was pacs idea. 145 was a compromise Cotto made to get the fight done. Along with accepting a smaller split. these are decisions that cotto made to get the fight done.

btw I am not saying cotto deserved an even split with Pac.

Let me get this straight...

If Cotto accepts dumb Manny demands and catchweights- Cotto is dumb and Manny is great.

Floyd makes demands and Manny does not accept- Floyd is scared, and Manny is great..lol WTF

SO Manny can make Demands as long as warriors are willing to accept them.

But if Floyd Makes demands and Manny(don't warrior up) Floyd is scared..lol

So it does not matter the demands? it matters who is making them? or who is accepting them(dummies not warriors)?

Please elaborate.
because of his history (ducking Margarito and Cotto) demanding something that has never been done before exhudes the perception that Floyd is scared.... again.

Well of course Cotto agreed...he wasn't in the position to haggle. He wasn't big enough of a star to haggle. Some goes with Shane Mosley. Mosley agreed to fight at 140, was it? 140! That's how desperate he was to get into the ring with a superstar...

...FMJ's star level isn't so much higher than Pac's that he can make ridiculous demands, or try to get the upper hand in every facet of the negotiations.

Fine I agree with this. its just that you stated it was Cottos Idea which would imply to some that it was something Cotto originally wanted.

team pac gave team cotto and ultimatum 143 or no fight so Cotto counted with 145.

The point is how is Floyd a coward for making a demand and sticking to it when Pac indicated he was willing to walk away from ODLH, Hatton and Cotto unless his demands were met.

In other words, he was willing to deprive the fans of these fights unless his demands were met

Here's a sensible answer to your first question.

Excerpts from Pacquiao Wars: Rise of the Player Haters By Steve Lewis:

...And arguments about weight drain are overly exaggerated anyway. If Miguel Cotto were asked to fight at lightweight or even at jr. welter, then yes. There may be some merit there. But remember, Pacquiao did not have to do anything for Cotto. Pacquiao could have easily said, “Hey, Miguel. Want in on the Pacquiao sweepstakes? You come down to my division at 140.” But he didn’t. Instead, Pacquiao decided that he would be the one to climb up to welterweight, with the concession that Cotto come in one pound under what he previously came in at (which was 146 for the Joshua Clottey fight). Was that an unreasonable request? It was probably unnecessary, but was it unreasonable? If that extra one pound was make-or-break for Cotto, then that’s an indication of bigger problems. As I have said in football, if you can’t get a 1st down on 4th and inches, you probably don’t deserve to win anyway....

Pac is not great asking for a catchweight and Cotto is not dumb for accepting the catchweight. Catchweights have been done before in boxing history. They are done to make superfights between 2 greats who happen to be in 2 separate but adjecent weight classes. Floyd has as many catchweight fights as Pac. At least Pac honored his agreed upon weight.

As far as Floyd's demands for blood testing. He has every right to ask for them, though it's quite questionable why he's never asked 40 of his previous opponents for blood testing. Pac has every right to refuse them. Blood testing is not the standard for pro boxing and has been determined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to be even potentially dangerous, confirmed further in my eyes when USADA decided to stop blood testing Floyd and Shane 18 days (almost 3 weeks) before their fight, after all their talk that blood testing is not dangerous and that you can't give fighters too big of a window to cheat. Pac had a bad experience giving blood a day before the first Morales fight saying it sapped him of strength. All this and Pac is still willing to give blood, just not too close to the fight, even against the findings of the NSAC, and has accepted Floyd's 14 day cutoff date proposal. Pac wants this fight. Let's see if Floyd wants it.
