Everyone was pulling for Iron Mike.

Holyfield was already past his best and war torn, and had looked pretty bad in 3 of his last 4 fights (2 wins, 2 losses).

Tyson wasn't what he once was, but he'd looked devastating in ripping the WBC belt from Frank Bruno, and Bruce Seldon had fainted rather than fight him.

It made sense to pick Tyson, big.

I miss the days when Tyson was fighting. He was so exciting. Holyfield certainly shocked people by defeating Iron Mike.
