Aussie boxing was long dead before the man brought it back to life when he made his pro debut against Gerrard Zohs(Spelling lol). He made his debut in front of over 5000 people. How many others have done that! He continually puts boxing in the papers, love him or hate him, the sport would have died. Who else can put bums on seats like THE MAN in Aust. NO ONE! Most fight fans want good match-ups and value for money.

But if you're happy to fork out good money to watch Mundine & Green fight nobody after nobody good luck to you mate.

Only downside is, by paying and funding these shit fights, you are only encouraging them to continue with more of them and never fight anyone decent.

Shit, your right....

That other guy, what's his name......Kontsa Zood....he only had about 8 international fights from 2000 onwards and did nothing for the sport here in Aus....couldn't draw a crowd if he tried!!! Was killing the sport and robbing everyone in his wake fighting total bums....not like "The Pioneer".

But the IBO:

1/ Wouldn't let him have his own judges.

2/ Probably wouldn't have even let him use his own scales.

3/ Wanted him to fight a credible opponent - Geale II, the mandatory.
