It's not a fight I've had anything to do with putting together, but Williams has been in contact with the promoters. He said he didn't train a day for the Chisora fight and knows this is his last roll of the dice and as such has begun training already. Fair enough you not having anything to do with putting this together , but i still would like to know (Just out of interest ) which Australian state had the balls to sanction an obviously shot to shit Williams fighting a dangerous banger like Alex , I applaud Leapia calling out Chisora and ***ton but seriously FEAR for Danny's health in regard to him fighting Alex .

Fight is scheduled to go ahead in NSW mate, although nothing is signed at present, to the best of my knowledge. Apparently he was in the process of moving house when he fought Chisora. As I said, he reckons he didn't train a single day. I suppose it's seen as a logical stepping stone towards Del Boy and Sammy.

There is nothing logical in fighting a shot to shit Danny Williams as a prelude to fighting ***ton or Chisora Ippy , A Tom Dallas or Tyson Fury type of fighter ? Yes but slamming a shot Danny Williams in a round makes zero sense to me in either prestige or ring experience . i know one thing for sure i will be having a hefty punt on Alex by first round Ko in this one and will be keeping a close eye on the odds for such .

Alex trains hard mate...I know this because I have watched him several times

He did have problems with sparring before the last fight and it showed.....also that fight was intense with little holding and Walker threw 111 punches in round 3

Alex runs 12klms a few times a week and trains 5 days a week....he gassed on volume of punches thrown at him, loading up too much, adrenaline and the occasion IMO...Noel and Alex are working hard on that not happening again

You need to remember Walker was a big step up for Alex and he will be better for it

I know hes doing 8 rounds of "dont hold back" sparring with 2 big punchers Thursday...these guys are pro fighters and do 1 round in and rest 1 round so they are fresh and alex goes 8 straight against rested freah fighters who can punch.

i spoke to a friend of mine in the states today and said there was someone here that shows interest in bringing out Samual Peter for Alex he said Dec . It s great to see a heavyweight and great to see him fighting big names
