Here is a question for the experts on historical trivia. What fighter holds the record for knocking out guys who had never been stopped before? And, what is the record number?

I would be surprised if the answer is not Peter Maher!
I have just checked with BoxRec... and according to them he knocked out 60 men (give or take a couple, if I haven't counted correctly), who had never been stopped before. |

off the top of my head, amoung world heavyweight champions against at that time rated contenders and former champions it has to be joe louis. paulino uzcudun, max baer, braddock, galento all had tough durable reputations.

Thus the incredibly low number of decision wins.On the subect of knock outs, there's "knocked out," and then there's KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT! Most of Danny's opponents ended up in the latter category. |
