Pirog looked OK and comfortable but he didn't do anything spectacular in there (other than the finish)...I can only put Jacobs lacklustre performance down to the fact that the week of the fight he lost his grandmother, the woman who actually raised him.

any boxer who can fight on the back foot and adapt to the presistent pressure would have lasted longer with Pirog.
Jacobs looked to be getting more comfortable boxing on the back foot until that right hand landed imo. |
