Waters v Medley is certainly the type of domestic fight Aussie boxing so badly needs.

Would far rather these two go at it than yet another under-matched Mundine fight.

Can't blame Waters though. Even if Medley did take no purse at all, Waters would still make much more fighting Mundine.

Plus, if Waters did happen to win, it's a path to better things.
