If we look at KT now and what his doing one thing is clear, he loves money and doesnt mind stretching the truth in order to increase his finical gain. After all KT trains every day and is not retired! His in waiting for one of the big names to call him out for one last pay day! meanwhile he jet sets off to russian on a regular basis for bussiness reasons, put out a heap of books and a training DVD, then did a aussie lunchon tour, dancing with stars etc, all of this done whilst he was still training every day waiting for one of the big names to call him out! lol

KT lies to his fans so its no suprize to read what Lewis says.

I think Johnny's biggest asset during his years of training world champs was one person, Bill Mordey. They were a team that worked great together.

I saw him not long ago and if he is training he needs to sack his trainer because he looks like he swallowed a sheep!

Just finished the book, i would have to give this book a 10/10 rating, its a great read!

What Johny reveals about KT is very shocking and if the australian public knew some of what Johny has revealed they would have dropped KT like a hot potato many many yrs ago, its sad what KT did to Johny, from causing the split with Bill to ripping Johny off 1 million dollars and some!

KT is a russian grub and he should return to his own country, he is un Australian and a money hungry lying little *****! Did you know he made his fans pay 60$ per head back in 2005 for dinner after a charity event? None of that money was going to the charity, and the restraunt was a russian one, well it doesnt take long to work out this is a rip off for Finger food. You could get a three course meal for 60$ per head and this is now in 2010.

I hope they do a doco on the real KT and expose him for what he has done to an australian boxing trainer ledgend and promoter.

Get the book and have a read, a man like Johny lewis doesnt make this stuff up and fenech also had his hand in on it, wispering sweet nothings into KTs ear.

KT lost to vince phillips because he wouldnt listen to Johny, he mearly used johny to hold the pads, johny would say 3 rounds on bag 3 on pads, KT would say no, 2 rounds on bag 3 on pads. There is some great storys about the true nature of KT in this book, dont be blinded by KTs achivments and have a look with your own pair or eyes.

I have so much respect for Johny but KT is a DOG!

Let's us know how you really feel Ty.

Maybe you should have a sit down with KT for his side of the story, wouldn't be the first time you've run your mouth off without being fully aware.

I already had a feeling KT was money hungry and was after money more than honor, lying to his fans etc, the books just backed that up. What he did to Johny, Mordey and others is a disgrace, ive sat down with both men and johny is the more honorable man, i would belive johny before i belived the words of KT who has lied to his fans for yrs on the retirment issue for the one sole purpose, finical gain.

KT also lied to Johny when asked about the purses from variouse fights, KT claimed it was paid in australian dollars when this was un heard of, when he pressed KT about this, KT admited it was USA dollars.

I will put up some quotes from the book for you Cotton? i followed KT for many many years and recall the reports in the papers which now all make sence given that Johny has spoken up.

The book was awsome but really sad to read what KT had done, mordey was a ledgend and didnt deserve to be tossed aside when KT won his first world title, replacing him with a russian, vlad warton, the courts also agreed awarding mordey millions in a pay out. KT owned Johny 1 million and tried to do a deal to pay 800,000 , johny accepted but had to get the money from KTs next two fights, he wasnt paid straight away.

KT didnt listen to Johny, didnt treat him like family and more so an employee. KT even had a secret meeting with mordey behind Johnys back and Wartons but had to seek final approval from his father, it was knocked back.

Go buy the book and open your eyes, KTs been feeding the public the same bs for yrs but something just didnt seem right, the mordey split was a hard one to read, likewise with the split with SKY who also sued KT.

I think KT has taken advantage of Australia and our kind nature.

Just finished the book very good read, he certainly doesn't miss Kostay who still owes him $200 000 but probably feels the $800 000 deal meant they were even, he also had a good go at Glen jennings and mat Watt would be interested to know who his source was i bet he bought him a nice little present after helping him to $800 000 that he would never have known about

Ty I can see what your saying and dont disagree but I also agree with Boxon... We have heard one side of the story and while I am sure Johnny has no reason to lie at this stage I wouldnt go as far as saying Tszyu should leave the country!

I was shocked to read it though I must admit. As you said in your post you had a feeling Tszyu was greedy & money hungry, I have also heard the same from some people and the book seems to back the claim but I will say talk is just talk it's up to each individual how much stock they put into that.

It isnt the worst thing to hear of a boxer making money for himself and being smart enough to hold onto it, how many boxers end up down in the dumps when the money is no longer coming in? But you draw the line when you go as far as to rip people off and blatantly lie just to hold on to every little penny.

Anyway, Ty and everyone else who has read it, what do you think of the rest of the book? Filled with lots of good stories as mentioned.

Daz

yes some great stories I felt sorry for ****** he was one who should have got a shot. It was also interesting how Johnny stayed with kostya and Bill brushed him however was happy to continue promoting hitman when he left Johnny i know it was Johnny's side of the story but it must have been something close

I think the seperation of John & Jeff Harding has something to do with Jeff wanting to fight Hearns.
Johnny wouldn't hear of it as I understand it.
Understandably The Cobra would have just been too fast & with his reach, Jeff would have had to book a ticket to get in close.
