Well in a boxing context it means hitting the floor, in other contexts it can be used to mean overwhelmed or stunned. MW is using the term incorrectly.

In general conversation, it just means "stunned". In boxing terminology, it's been knocked down.

I think on EastSideBoxing, talking about boxer Jean Pascal, you have to assume they meant "floored" in the boxing sense.

It's like...

"Lennox Lewis knocked out Hasim Rahman"
"No, he didn't"
"Yes, he did"
"He didn't knock him out of the ring, thus, no knock out"

However in boxing, there's no need for that, because you will get stunned, literally, and you will get floored, literally. Therefore nobody uses the term floored to mean "STUNNED". "Floored" in boxing means when you enter the ring and you notice a few hot ladies and your "floored" by them but you dont touch the canvas with anything other than your feet but your still floored!! LOL

Anyone with even half a brain knows in order to be floored in boxing you need to hit the canvas

and yes it was the first, he never go floored but michigan here does his amazing "i will comment on fights i havet seen just to argue against you"
