This thread is dedicated to greatness of Pacquiao inside the ring, his unique achievements, and is unrivaled resume. Let's take a look:

Achievments:
  • HBO & BWAA Bpxer of the Decade

  • 4 lineal champion
  • 8 division champion
  • 4 Year p4p king

  • Revolutionized testing procedures (stemming from fear by a certain group of ghetto individuals, who could not fathom the greatness of 1 small fighter that dominated multiple divisions)
  • Longest reigning boxer in the p4p rankings (added 07/0/14)

Resume:
  • Barrera-ATG (ko'd, with pac only having a few weeks notice)
  • Morales-ATG (never been stopped up to that point, granite chin cracked by pac)
  • ODH-ATG (made this 6 division champion, gold medalist, 5 inch taller, ATG quit)

  • Mosley-HOF (dropped him once and mosley ran like a coward for the rest of the fight)
  • Cotto-HOF (simply sodomized by pac)
  • Hatton-HOF (brutally ko'd like never before)
  • Bradley-HOF ( outclassed a young, undefeated strong p4p'r)
  • Matrgarito-HOF (raped by a boxer 20 lbs lighter, gave him a career ending beating and gave him a lifelong injury)
  • Clottey-HOF (outclassed a man who had was unofficially undefeated, said man just brutalized a true middleweight)
  • Sasakul-HOF (raped the lineal champ)
  • Ledwaba-HOF (1 week notice and sodomized this great champ)
  • D. Diaz-HOF (first fight at 135 against a fighter who held a victory against the ATG Morales. Pac Befuddled the champ with blazing speed and tremendous power and brutally kod the champ!(added 07/04/14)
  • Solis-Top contender/champ (pac brutalized this undefeated fighter in his prime)
  • Larios-Top contender/champ (pac toyed with this fighter who held victories against the best s. bantamweight of this era, I. Vazquez)
  • Lucero-Top contender/champ (pac annihilated this young undefeated top fighter)
  • Julio-Top contender/champ (easy work for pac)

Pac's hype comes from beating three extremely popular fighter's in a row. DLH, Hatton, Cotto, The first was old and weight drained, the second was always overrated, and the last he caught in a career derailed moment with a rookie for a trainer that gave him a game plan that actually suited Pac. Everyone else was a bunch of brawlers' and the one who wasn't only a brawler gave him hell every outing, and eventually put him on his face. He hasn't had a KO since his three hype win streak but, I will admit, he is the greatest brawler destroyer I have ever seen. Now that he fights much less brawler's at 147, he cannot look so spectacular though. So to me he's a guy who beats one of the three styles in grand fashion, and struggles with the other 2, easy to view him as a great fighter with the right type of opponent, much harder to do so with most though.

Pacquiao was hyped far before fighting Delahoya or Cotto.

He was only a 2-1 underdog against Oscar and was favored over everyone after that.
