I already addressed this in another thread. Manny is an aggressive counter puncher. He has power so he is looking to force his opponent into a fight, which will give him more opportunities to hurt his opponent with counters. Floyd doesn't have power so he looks to land a few good potshots and win the round.

You will see that much of his punching is actually counter punching. But unlike Floyd and other "slick" boxers he counters in bunches and then presses the advantage. What most of the posers mistake for offense is actually counter punching followed by offense.
