floyd should just announce his retirement then and not to take long vacations as always when there are perceived threats.
I highly doubt he fights Martinez- It's going to most likely be Canelo then maybe a Cotto rematch to unify 154 after Cotto gets by Trout (if he does)

well floyd said he is ok with a martinez fight if he would go down to 150. martinez might grab this chance for the money. i have no problem with a cotto fight but cotto is just too past it now and is slow as fuck at 154. canelo, that's nice and floyd should try to get him now otherwise, his old tactic of making his opponent old and washed-up first would backfire against canelo.

Cotto isn't that slow at 154 IMO he was piecing Margo up with nice 3 and 4 punch combos. He looked slow against Floyd because that's the effect Floyd's style has with most guys. Trust, Cotto will look faster against Trout in December

I hate the Martinez fight at 150. 154-160 or bust

cotto looked slow as fuck compared to his prime days at WW. and he had so much wars and wear and tear now. he looks fast compared to margarito of course. cotto didn't looked fast against mayorga either. there's a reason why floyd would not touch him back in 2008.

well, floyd said he would take the fight at 150.

Oscar and Richard and Al have done nothing but try to make this fight.

They even offered to let Manny prove that he was worth 50% while Floyd would prove he was worth what he offered in fight game w/Jim.

Arum shot the idea down.

Arum is the single most corrupt person/thing in boxing.

Actually there was a contract drawn up for the Margarito/Cotto bouts with Arum, and Floyd wanted the Oscar fight somewhere in between.

Arum said no to the deal and Floyd left the company, never doing business with eachother again. That's why they never fought under TR

fake. lol at cleaning up the sport, anyone that knows Floyd can't honestly defend his morals while keeping a straight face.

i'm disappointed in Pac for not originally agreeing to the tests though.

the timeline was this. cotto just beat mosley, floyd just beat hatton. it was the biggest fight at WW (even the whole of boxing) at that time. the hype was crazy if you were visiting boxing forums back then. but floyd and his camp made some excuses (what's new?) about cotto not being a draw. floyd also mentioned he needs to heal his body up and went on vacation instead.

Floyd hits baby momma and threatens kids - pleads "no contest" to avoid going to court and facing potential 37-year sentence, Flomos say this is no indication of his guilt. Settled for 3 months in prison instead. Comes out 15lbs lighter, can't fight Pacman

Floyd accuses Pacman of using PEDS, Pacman sues him, goes to court, Floyd doesn't turn up, settles out of court with Pacman. Flomos say Floyd was right and is cleaning up the sport of boxing LOL!!!

What a great guy, beats up his kids' mother in front of them, threatens them when they try to escape and call the police, spreads malicious rumours/gossip about Pacman like a bitch, backs down when it goes to court and retracts what he said and makes public apology

It started intially as a demand in negotiations. A demand he had every right to ask for imo (I don't know why people think Floyd was out of line. A fighter can demand almost anything he wants to lol). I still think Pacquiao's excuses for why he inititally said no are bullshit. Anyone who doesn't have their head up there ass can see that (he straight up lied people... twice lol). And the fact that other fighters are catching on is ultimately good for the sport.

But this whole campaign to "clean up the sport" with t-shirts and shit... THAT'S bullshit.
(IMO of course)
